The automated recommendations are generated by an algorithm in TalentManager. This algorithm uses several sources of information and recommends suitable talents from the XING database based on the project details you have entered in your project.
(More under Create a project). Without entering a search query, you will be presented with recommendations.

For every vacancy you create in the TalentManager, you automatically receive ideal candidate recommendations — tailored to your needs and served on a silver platter. Finding the right talent has never been easier! A talent has convinced you at first sight? Then invite the person directly to apply!
How does the candidate recommender work?
The sequence of information included by the algorithm: Matching of information about the project (e.g. job title, requirement description, work experience, etc.) with data from personal XING profiles (job title, I offer, I search, career level, etc.) is performed. Synonyms and translations are also taken into account on a case-by-case basis (product manager = product owner, etc.). Most of the fields in the project mask are mandatory fields. As a general rule, the more detailed, the more suitable the candidate recommendations. Skills are particularly relevant. Up to 10 relevant keywords can and should be selected here. Also make sure that the position title is common.
Then, anonymized data on user behavior is used (Have members with a similar resume clicked on job ads similar to this project in the past?).
Furthermore, the algorithm takes into account which talents you have already added to your project and searches for similar profiles. Where can I find recommendations?
Since the recommendations are played out on the basis of a project, call up the Projects section via the left navigation bar and select one of your projects. Behind the second tab "Recommendations" you will find the list.
How to individualize recommendations?
NEW: Through the individual configuration, the results are tailored to you. This allows you to find suitable candidates even faster and more efficiently. You can set the prioritization per project and therefore per job.

The recommendations do not replace the manual search via the search mask. The recommendations are a good addition to the search to quickly access first candidate profiles and to get profiles that you might not have found via the search.
