In the “Applicant Sources” area under “Settings” you can define the channels/channels through which candidates became aware of the open position or applied.
Typical applicant sources can be:
- Job portals: Websites such as StepStone, Indeed, Monster, etc., where job advertisements are published and applications are received.
-
Company career page: Apply directly via the company website.
Social networks: Platforms such as LinkedIn, XING, Facebook, through which applicants became aware of the job advertisement. -
Employee Referrals: Applications submitted through referrals from existing employees.
Recruiters or headhunters: External agencies that place candidates. -
Unsolicited applications: Applications that are sent directly to the company without a specific job advertisement.

How to proceed:
In order to allow this entry, you must first specify possible application sources for selection. Go to Settings (1) > Applications (2) > Application Sources (3) and click Add an application source (4) to add the desired source as selection options.
Select the desired language (5) and enter the title of the source under "Application source title" (6). Attention! Activate the option "Make this selectable for candidates" (7) to make the application source visible to your candidates.
For this method as well, we recommend that the results only be used for comparisons in the future. The information from the applicant may be entirely missing or, when available, could include false information (such as in cases of poor recall).
Evaluation/reporting
In Application Manager, these applicant sources can be tracked and evaluated to determine which channels are most effective and generate the most or highest quality applications.
