This article provides you with a detailed explanation of the performance metrics which you can retrive when you post job ads on XING via XML feed or API.

Information about the report
The report is produced anew every morning and contains all advertisements that were posted live on XING in the last 90 days. If a job advertisement was live within the last 90 days, all statistical data is displayed retrospectively starting from the the date of creation of the job posting.
Legend
The metrics in the report can be read as follows.

Order ID | The order number on which the advert was placed. The order number is used to assign the corresponding contract and product (Core, Pro, Ultimate, Essential) |
Product Type | Product name (Core, Pro, Ultimate, Essential) |
Job Code | Usually the ID of the job advert that is made available via the feed |
Posting URL | The URL under which the advert can be found /was found |
Reply Setting | Indicated application type. Possible values: url (forwarding to an external application form) and xing_apply (for XING instant application) |
Company Name | Company name shown in the job advert |
Title | Title of the job ad |
City | Location stated in the job ad |
Level |
Career level of the job. Possible values: JOBLEVEL_1 -- Student/Intern JOBLEVEL_2 -- Entry Level JOBLEVEL_3 -- Professional/Experienced JOBLEVEL_4 -- Manager (Manager/Supervisor) JOBLEVEL_5 -- Executive (VP, SVP, etc.) JOBLEVEL_6 -- Senior Executive (CEO, CFO, President) |

Impressions | Counts the display of the job card view of a posting. This contains usually only basic information like the name of the job, company, kununu rating and employment type which are being displayed within a small card. Clicking on the card leads to the job detail view for the posting. |
Visits | Count of loggedin & loggedout visits of the job detail view. This contains the full job description with a job description, requirements, salary forecast etc. This applys per visit of the same posting which could be endless |
Unique Visitors | Count of unique visitors. Unique counts for logged in visitors are based on the user_id, logged out visitors are identified based on cookies. If one user clicks on the same posting logged in and logged out these clicks are being counted twice. If logged out users delete their cookies, the number of unique counts can theoretically be unlimited |
Bookmarks | Times users save or bookmark a job posting. Every bookmark counts even if a specific posting was unbookmarked before and bookmarked again by the same user. |
Apply Intentions | Apply Intentions observed on all postings on XING during a given time period, regardless of when the posting was activated. After intending to apply the user is being forwarded to the application form which depends on the reply type. For URL apply the user is redirected to the reply page of the company. For instant apply the user stays on XING and can complete the application directly on XING. |
External Application Clicks | Count of clicks on apply button. Considered are both logged in and logged out clicks on the apply button with external job application URL |
Instant Apply Clicks | Count of clicks on apply button. Considered are both logged in and logged out clicks on the apply button with instant apply |
Instant Applications | Finished instant apply process on XING. A user can send an application for the same posting only once. |
