Basically, it must be said that one does not replace the other. Search and projects are two different pairs of shoes.
Search
When searching, you have to know exactly what you are looking for. If you do not know exactly your keywords, catchwords, Boolean operators or if you enter too much into the search mask, candidates may be lost.
The result contains only exactly what has been searched for (sometimes also synonyms). Filters can easily cover many conditions very precisely.
Basically, you can search precisely, specifically exclude things and know exactly why a profile is displayed (because it was searched for). But the search is of course more time-consuming.
Projects / Project creation
With projects, you don't need a lot of prior knowledge or preparatory work. You can insert existing job descriptions, briefing or project content with just one click. This automatic project creation speeds up the recruiting process and reduces time-to-hire.
Organization and documentation
Projects are used to document recruiting activities. All information about a vacancy can be found in one place. Projects are the basis of all activities in TalentManager.
- They provide a good overview, transparency and organization of the candidates.
- They can be used on a long-term basis.
For example, in the case of recurring vacancies, candidates who have already been identified can be accessed.
Recommendations
Another advantage of projects is that you receive automatic candidate recommendations.
They are ideal for a first, quick look. i.e. for the briefing of the recruiter, for the preparation of the search or also as a quality check of the advertised job advertisement. Do the details of the job advertisement match the requirements / wishes / details of the candidate?
Recommendations provide suitable talents based on the project details in combination with an algorithm. In this way, talents are also displayed that would possibly not have been found via the search.
Recommendations can be weighted individually, and the algorithm is adaptive and does not only consider skills, but also the behavior of the candidates:
- e.g. click on job ad,
- activity
- search for a preferred work location,
- search of the candidate for a specific skill.
Thus, the quality improves the more you work with it.
Multi messages
The multi-message function provides you with a simple and efficient way to contact several candidates at the same time. And best of all, the messages can be easily personalized using so-called "smart tags". In just a few clicks, your personalized message is in the inbox of your desired candidates. The message does not have to be linked to a job ad.
Smart Templates
Templates are generated on the basis of a project, which must contain at least one job title. Based on the following information, the system generates a suitable address to help you with your formulation:
- Project information
- Information from the candidate's profile
- Data from the company profile of the TalentManager user
Sharing a project / team projects
Projects are initially only visible to creators. The latter has the option to share the projects with the team when they are created or afterward. Once this is done, everyone working in the work environment can view the project under the "Team Projects" tab. Projects can also be easily shared with colleagues for further collaboration.
Statistics
The project statistics provide an overview of the performance of the project. Use the data, such as started correspondences, response rates, salary expectations, career status for effective monitoring of your recruiting activities.
